MAIN EVENTS

Seafood Fest: Normally held in the first weekend of June in Regner Park, this three day festival is the major fundraiser for the Noon Rotary’s Waterways Foundation. There are many functions to be accomplished in this event and members are expected to contribute their time and effort, and we will greatly appreciate the time and effort of family members. The major functions are headed by a”tent captain” who is responsible for getting supporting help. If you do not volunteer for a function, you will be assigned duties on an “as needed” basis. Seek out a Tent Captain and volunteer early in order to get the duty and shift you desire. You are responsible to sell 8 tickets totaling $160. Meetings of the Seafood Fest Committee are held on the 2nd Monday of each month at 11:00 AM in the 2nd floor conference room of the Cedar Ridge Campus before the regular meeting and attendance counts as a make-up.

Shrimp Boil: Normally held in August, this one day event takes place in Ridge Run Park and is not quite as large an affair. Duty assignments are similar to those for Seafood Fest. You are responsible for selling 8 tickets totaling $108.
